International Cooperation for Professional Training in Protection of Monuments – Heritage Train II

Project Goal:

The project goal is to contribute to development and improvement of the professional training in the field of cultural heritage through Czech-Slovak-Austrian cooperation.

Background:

The project is based on the need to implement systematic education among the employees of monument offices, as well as employees of local governments and other entities involved in the protection and development of cultural heritage. This need was identified in the Slovak repoblic, Czech republic and in Austria within the frame of the project International Cooperation for Professional Training in Protection of Monuments (Heritage Train I.) conducted from 2019 to 2022.

  • Compiling the pool of experts
  • Preparation of learning modules and compiling of virtual library

Finaning:

The project is funded by the European Union under the ERASMUS+ program, Key Action 2 – Strategic Partnerships. The total budget for the project for four partners is 400,000 EUR. The project duration is from October 2023 to September 2026.

International Cooperation for Professional Training in Protection of Monuments – Heritage Train

Project Goal:

The project goal is to contribute to development and improvement of the professional training in the area of cultural heritage through Czech-Slovak-Austrian cooperation.

The project derives from the need to introduce a systemic training for the staff of monument boards, as well as for self-government authorities and other subjects that are involved in built heritage conservation and development.

Background:

The project is based on the need to introduce systematic education in the ranks of employees of monument offices, as well as employees of local governments and other entities that are involved in the protection and development of cultural heritage.

  • Owners of cultural monuments
  • Architects and construction engineers

Project Activities and Results: 

  • Comparative analysis of training opportunities in the field of protection and development of cultural heritage in individual countries (overviews of educational programs and training for these target groups)
  • Outline curricula of educational programs and training for the mentioned target groups

Finaning:

The project is implemented in the framework of the Erasmus+ Lifelong Learning Program, KA2 – Strategic Partnerships. The total budget was EUR 299 365, of which the amount of the provided grant for the Slovak partner (AINova) was EUR 67 575 EUR. The project period was from December 2019 to November 2019.

Mapping of Cultural Heritage of the Bratislava Region in the Framework of Days of European Cultural Heritage

Project Goal:

The aim of the project is to map individual important parts of the tangible cultural heritage in the Bratislava region and their presentation to the professional and general public in the form of an annual conference. For this purpose, the Bratislava self-governing region, in cooperation with AINova, is organizing a conference within the framework of the European Cultural Heritage Days. The aim is also to promote well-restored historic buildings in the region as well as those that need help.

Financing:

The project is funded by the Bratislava self-governing region.

School of Traditional Building Crafts

Project Goal:

The aim of the project is to train craftsmen from the region and help the owners of historic buildings in the center of Svätý Jur with the implementation of their restoration.

Financing:

The project is implemented as part of the Heritage Partners program.

Management of Sites on the World Heritage List

Project Goal:

The project aims to contribute to improving the quality of management of sites inscribed on the World Heritage List in Slovakia through the education of key actors involved in this process.
