Reurbanization of Inner-city Residential Zones – ReUrban Mobil

Project Goal:

The aim of the project is to analyze the possibilities and obstacles to the reurbanization of inner-city residential areas and to develop tools, incentives and strategies for the appropriate and sustainable use of these areas. An important component of the project was the confirmation of the need to implement measures to improve the management and maintenance of the historic housing , which are a necessary condition for increasing the attractiveness of inner-city residential zones and strengthening their competitiveness against suburbanization trends, disproportionately burdening the environment and depleting territorial resources.

Financing:

The project was supported by the PSS Fund, a.s. and the European Commission under the Fifth Framework Program. The duration of the project was from October 2002 to September 2005. The total budget was EUR 2 069 349.60, of which ERDF support was EUR 1 666 909.70.

Enabling Private Owners of Residential Buildings to Integrate them into Urban Restructuring Processes – EPOurban

Project Goal:

In cooperation with project partners, the aim of the project is to propose effective methods by which private owners of residential buildings would be more involved in the processes of urban restructuring, as well as counseling systems connecting actors from the public and private sectors, including the owners themselves.

Financing:

The project was approved by the European Commission / Monitoring Committee in January 2011. The project was funded by the Operational Program – “Central Europe” . The total budget was EUR 2 069 349.60, of which ERDF contribution was EUR 1 666 909.70. The duration was from September 2011 to November 2014 (i.e. 39 months).

Regional Academy – REGIO

Project Goal:

The goal of the project is to design and pilot a training programme for staff and collaborators of local and self-govenment authorities working on the plans and strategies for social and economic development. The training aims to develop professional and personal competences of participants.

Financing:

The project is implemented thanks to support from the European Social Fund and the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Program Human Resources. The amount of the provided NFP is EUR 128 745.80. The duration of the project is from January 2019 to June 2021. The places of implementation are: Banská Bystrica Region, Košice Region, Nitra Region, Prešov Region, Trenčín Region, Trnava Region, Žilina Region
