Training of Mentors and Teaching Assistants – MentorT
The project focused on transferring the experience of the Belgian partner in the training of “mentors” (teaching assistants) to other partner institutions in the project. This experience has been transformed into a mentoring training course that can be applied to different groups of individuals. In our case young people who are struggling in life with physical, mental or social disadvantage. The overall goal of the project was to increase the employment of young people.
The project was implemented in the years 2012 – 2014 within the Lifelong Learning Program – Leonardo da Vinci – Transfer of Innovations no. 2012-1-TR1-LEO05-35164. The project was coordinated by the Turkish adult education institution Yenisehir Halk Eğitim Merkezi and the partners were adult education institutions from Belgium, Spain, France, Romania (2 partners), Lithuania and Slovakia (AINova). The total project budget was EUR 334 428, of which EUR 28 776 for AINova.
